Anima Flow is movement exploration and movement therapy. We use movement to tap into our physical and emotional blockages. It is also a space to express oneself creatively and emotionally. A place where we have full permission to move freely, unguarded, release powerful storages of pain and open up our bodies to be clear channels to the divine.
In movement, we are able to discover our own blockages and increase our self awareness and connection to our own body. We will use visual, kinesthetic and auditory cues to help you get back into your body and to both discover and feel our areas of disconnection. We will also prescribe some take home exercises and self care routine to help further your healing journey.
Anima Flow Movement & Bodywork offers semi private and private instruction and body work around the world. Based in the Sedona, Arizona, Holly hosts and travels to offer her extensive knowledge in many disciplines. She specializes in movement therapy and bodywork designed to release our energetic and physical blockages and keep us operating at full capacity. She offers exceptional training in pole dance, aerial yoga, lyra hoop, dance, primal movement and personal training. Holly can travel to your studio for workshops and expert instructor training.
ANIMA FLOW SIGNATURE GROUND MOVEMENT
Anima Flow is movement exploration and movement therapy. We use movement to tap into our physical and emotional blockages. It is also a space to express oneself creatively and emotionally. In the signature movement class, the ground is our apparatus. We incorporate yoga, dance, primal movement, floor flow and calisthenics, using just our body weight to create a freestyle movement that is natural to the individuals body. Knee pads and layers are recommended.
ANIMA FLOW POLE DANCE
Anima Flow is movement exploration and movement therapy. We use movement to tap into our physical and emotional blockages. It is also a space to express oneself creatively and emotionally. In this class we use the pole as a tool for dance freedom and expression. We offer beginner to advanced and competitive level pole dance instruction. All classes focus on lifts, spins, dance, floor work, transitions, conditioning, flexibility and safety. Looking to get into competitive or professional level pole dance? ANIMA FLOW AERIAL YOGA
Restore. Energize. Fly. Join us for classes that will strengthen and rejuvenate your body and mind. We incorporate traditional yoga poses with aerial arts, while promoting flexibility, balance and strength. Experience the therapeutic qualities of yoga in a suspended fabric hammock, get strong with upper body and core work, and find alignment and balance in this fun class. Aerial yoga is a great compliment to your current fitness regimen. Test your strength, agility and body awareness in a new unfamiliar dimension while stretching overused muscles and decompressing the spine. Come fly with us!
ANIMA FLOW RESTORATIVE AERIAL YOGA
This class is focused around meditation, breathing, releasing and stress reduction. The hammock is much lower to the ground, utilizing the combination of the hammock float and the ground. The class incorporates a slow flow through poses spending longer amounts of time passively stretching and letting the body relax. Suitable for beginners.
ANIMA FLOW STRETCH
Stretch is a restorative, gentle flow practice, that has a strong moon quality. You will see this in the pacing, and more forward bends, asymmetry, attention to alignment, longer holds, and awareness of breath. This practice will bring in a steadiness that helps you to tap into your subconscious, allowing you to release stress, and deep held patterning by resetting your Parasympathetic nervous system. We focus on stretching hips, shoulders, neck and arms with minimal use of the arms. The elements included in this practice are light chanting, Dynamic Movement with Breath, short meditations, long hold (Yin) postures, and Savasana.
ANIMA FLOW VINYASA
Anima Flow Vinyasa is a fun, alignment based flow class designed for all levels. This class combines Vimana, Vinyasa, Para, and Forrest yoga, to cultivate an unsurpassed experience. You will feel strong, supple, balanced, enlivened, and nurtured.
Vimana Yoga is a foundational, therapeutic class for all levels that includes traditional Hatha Yoga, Core, Flow, and Dynamic Movement with breath. Vimana Yoga combines several styles of Yoga including Bikram, Forrest, Para, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa Yoga. These combinations prepare you for all styles of practice.
STRENGTH & FLEXIBILITY
PARTIES: INSTRUCTIONAL & PERFORMANCE
We offer exclusive instructional pole dance parties in studio in West Sedona or in home/rental/event site. Pole dance instructional parties are 90 minutes in length and are catered to meet your needs and desires. Parties are fun, engaging and a great way to celebrate a bachelorette party, girls night or birthday. Please call for fun ideas.

We offer exceptional high level and professional instructor training for aerial yoga, pole dance, aerial hoop lyra, aerial hammock Pilates, flexibility and suspension fitness. With more than 20 years of experience in many disciplines, Anima Flow Movement & Bodywork offers the highest quality instructor training. We pride ourselves in teaching teachers how to teach with a focus on form, safety ad teaching techniques.
Pole dance and aerial arts take a unique skill set that takes years to learn and perfect. We offer strength and flexibility classes designed to help you gain the body awareness and raw strength it takes to perform these disciplines in an aesthetically pleasing way. We offer weekly classes focused in these areas and recommend them as an additional to your regular training schedule. We also offer personal training sessions designed to meet your personal fitness goals.
